BTS To Hit The U.S. With A 4-City Tour In July After Concluding ‘Dope’ Promotions

BTS will head to the US in July for performances in four cities as part of their The Red Bullet tour series. 

THe K-pop boy band BTS released their latest music video, for the song “Dope,” on Tuesday, racking up over a million views in under 24 hourse. The group also became the first foreign hip-hop artist to top Japan's Oricon Weekly Singles Chart.

BTS will make their comeback performance to South Korean television on Thursday through the Mnet music performance competition “M! Countdown.”

In the flamboyant "Dope" music video, the BTS members adopt several different career personas, like policeman, doctor and office worker.

The group's legions of devoted fans worked together to make sure the music video release was a success.

“Hour 29 and we got to a million," wrote BTS fan SugaVirus in a commented posted on Wednesday to the "Dope" music video on YouTube. "We did good A.R.M.Y.s!” 

BTS fans are known as A.R.M.Y., which stands for Adorable Representative MC for Youth.

That same day, YouTuber Delz L encouraged fans to keep spreading the word about "Dope."

“We did a million views for this," she wrote. "Now let’s get to more than 100 million as fast as we can."
