Wonder Girls will be making their long awaited return as a four member band!

Wonder Girls will return as a four member group including Hyelim, Yoobin, and Yeeun as well as the return of former member Sunmi. Sunmi stepped down as a member of Wonder Girls in 2010 and pursued her own solo career under the same agency, JYP Entertainment. Member Sunye will remain inactive for this performance as she is pursuing philanthropic work in Haiti with her husband and child.

The girl group will shed their pervious dance style and take up instruments for their first comeback in three years. It has been reported that Hyelim will take on the guitar, Sunmi will play the bass, Yoobin will be on drums, and Yeeun on the keyboard according to EDaily.

Many music industry insiders have spotted the members carrying their instruments between practices. Wonder Girls began filming for their music video on June 24. The girls have reportedly been practicing for their band comeback for about a year.

Wonder Girls are preparing their album with the aim of returning on August 3, JYP Entertainment confirmed with Sports Today.

Wonder Girls last release was in 2012 with their song "Like This."
