Block B's Zico And Older Brother Taewoon Team Up For The 1st Time With Collaboration Track

Former SPEED member Woo Taewoon and his younger brother Zico from Block B will be releasing a new collaboration track later this year.

Music insiders revealed their collaboration exclusively to Ilgan Sports on June 26. According to reports, the two brothers recently finished recording their hip-hop track and are aiming to release it later in the year.

Both Zico and Taewoon are reported to have worked on writing and composing the song. This is the first time the two siblings have worked on a song release together.

In March 2015, Taewoon left idol boy group SPEED to pursue his own musical career. In tandem with his departure from the group, it was also announced that he would be auditioning for Mnet's rap competition show Show Me the Money 4 in order to establish himself as a hip-hop artist.

Meanwhile, his younger brother Zico has received explosive popularity as both the leader of Block B and in his own solo Korean hip-hop career.  Zico will also be on Show Me the Money 4 as part of the producer team, meaning that he will be judging his older brother throughout the competition. The first episode of Show Me The Money 4 aired on June 26 at 11PM KST.
