Ace Frehley Home In Foreclosure After Kiss Guitarist Skips Paying Mortgage For Two Years: Spaceman Owes Over $700,000 On A $735,000 Home [VIDEO]

Ace Frehley's home in Westchester is in foreclosure after the Kiss guitarist skipped paying his mortgage for two years, according to the Journal News.

Frehley allegedly owes $700,000 on the $735,000 home, plus interest, late charges and other expenses.

The 2,400 square foot, three-bedroom, three-bathroom Yorktown, New York home sits on a three-acre plot.

The last time Ace reportedly made a mortgage payment was March 1, 2011.

To make matters worse for the "New York Groove" singer, Frehley also owes over $18,500 for two years of unpaid taxes.

"It is my fantasy to go to another planet," the guitarist known to Kiss fans as Spaceman or Space Ace for his intergalactic stage persona, told Guitar World Magazine in 1993. "By the time I'm 40, interplanetary travel will be common. Nobody will want to talk to me at that age, anyway."

Maybe one of Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic flights to the moon would be a good way for Frehley to escape his home-related financial woes.

Frehley's Kiss bandmate Gene Simmons could certainly afford to lend Spaceman the space bucks. Forbes reports Simmons's net worth at $300 million.

In 2009, Ace explained to Rock N Roll Experience Magazine why his newest solo album was called "Anomaly."

"I think in a way I'm an Anomaly," Frehley said. "I'm an un-schooled musician, I don't know how to read music, but I'm one of the most famous guitar players in the world, so go figure."

Modest too.
