Big Bang Forgo Music Video For New 'MADE' Album Single 'If You'

Since the beginning of their 2015 "Made" comeback series, Big Bang has released a music video to go with every song. Their upcoming single "If You" however will not be represented visually.

Apparently, it's too sad to be filmed.

Big Bang will release their latest "Made" album singles, "Sober" and "If You," on July 1. While a music video has been prepared for "Sober," Big Bang will not release a music video for "If You." Instead, it appears that the group wants fans to focus on the lyrics and music to get the feeling of the song.

"The reason why it does not have a music video is because since BIGBANG's debut in 2006, 'If You' is their saddest song ever. 'If You' is a track that will touch you emotionally. A music video wasn't shot so that you can focus on the music and lyrics only," said an YG Entertainment Official (via Koreaboo).

In fact, "If You" is supposed to be so emotional, that even YG president Yang Hyun Suk was brought to tears upon hearing it.

"I listened to the song and tears welled up. It is most likely the saddest song of all Big Bang's songs in the last 9 years. I am in my 40's and I was moved significantly, so I am sure listeners in their teens or 20's, or others, will find it very sentimental," said Yang.

In addition to the usual round of performances to promote "Sober" and "If You," Big Bang members Taeyang and G-dragon will appear on Korean variety TV show "Infinite Challenge." Big Bang will also continue their massive "Made" 2015 World Tour with upcoming stops in Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

It may seem somewhat disappointing that Big Bang fans will not be graced with a music video for "If You," but perhaps its best if fans cry while listening to the song, then watch the "Sober" music video to cheer them up afterward.
