Stan Lee Rushed To Hospital But Makes It To 'Ant-Man' Premiere, Talks About Cameo

Stan Lee showed that he was not just a creator of super humans but that he also has a knack for bouncing back after being rushed to the hospital. The 92-year old legend had a medical emergency on Sunday, according to Mail Online.

As reported by TMZ, the Stan Lee rushed to hospital incident occurred on Sunday. The comic book legend was taken to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after reportedly calling 911.

It was not mentioned what exactly happened that led to the Stan Lee rushed to hospital incident. TMZ cited though that sources said Stan Lee was not feeling well. The report also said that Stan Lee got a pacemaker in 2012 though it was not cited if that had anything to do with him being rushed to the hospital.

Stan Lee seemed to have super strength after he was rushed to the hospital. On Monday as reported by Mail Online, he was up and about for the "Ant-Man" premiere.

The Spider-Man creator attended the event wearing a collared shirt, jacket and slacks. He met and talked with the stars of "Ant-Man" including Paul Rudd. He also gave photographers something to snap to by posing with a Spider-Man web-slinging hand gesture.

In an interview with Marvel Entertainment as cited by Comic Book, Stan Lee shared the reason why he attended the premiere after his rushed to the hospital incident.

"The only reason I came was to see my cameo!" he exclaimed to Marvel Entertainment.

"It's all I wanna do and it's such an easy way. It's 12 seconds and I'm out there," he added.

Stan Lee even cracked a joke or two and laughed with the reporter throughout the interview as he gave an advice to those dreaming to follow his footsteps.

"Well, stop wasting time watching this and start drawing for crying out loud," he cracked.

"You wanna be an artist, draw. You wanna be a writer, write. It's as simple as that," he added.
