Big Bang Gets 'Sober' For Latest Music Video

Big Bang "Sober" up for their latest music video!

On July 1 at midnight KST Big Bang released "Sober" through their official YouTube channel. Despite the title, Big Bang act anything but sober as they run, jump and spin around wildly while dealing with various frustrations. The video strings together a series of interesting, artistic, and Avant Garde sets, from Taeyang trapped in a steam shower in the middle of the forest to G-Dragon running a field filled with beds.

The most poignant imagery, however, comes at the end as the members run wildly around a sign that reads "dreams." Fans will recognize the scene from the teaser poster for "Sober." However, seeing it come to life in the music video gives off an entirely different and inspiring feeling.

While "Bang Bang Bang" had people wanting to dance, "Sober" is the song to sing loudly while jumping up and down. Its less aggressive sound makes it a perfect song to listen to during hot July days.

"Sober" is the group's fifth music video release of their MADE series, following "Loser," "Bae Bae," "Bang Bang Bang," and "We Like 2 Party." Although the group has been releasing two new singles and music videos per month, for July "Sober" will be their only visual release. Their other track, "If You," will not have a music video as Big Bang wants listeners to focus on the music and lyrics only.
