Former KARA member Nicole topped Tower Records' K-pop weekly chart.

According to Japanese K-pop website Kstyle, Nicole (given name, Yongju Jung) topped Tower Records' K-pop weekly chart (June 22 ~ June 28) with her Japanese single "Something Special" and showed off her popularity in Japan.

Her achievement is especially notable because this is Nicole's debut album in Japan and it was released in the middle of the week on June 24. Nicole also entered the Oricon chart's top 10 with "Something Special" on the day of its release.

"Nicole recently came back from Japan after wrapping up her promotion activities," commented B2M Entertainment, "She will focus on producing her next album now."
