Katy Perry Wins Over Taylor Swift In Forbes List; 'Roar' Singer Not Letting Feud 'Define Her Career?

The rumor about Katy Perry feuding with Taylor Swift has been going the rounds for a good time now, but the "Fireworks" singer did trump the "Bad Blood" singer last year in terms of earnings.

According to the Celebrity 100 List by Forbes, only Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao-owing to their $300 million and $160 million payday-jumped ahead of Katy Perry on the ranking.

Katy Perry earned $135 million last year.

"Perry is part of the burgeoning batch of stars cashing in on an increasingly global entertainment landscape," the article said. "As part of her Prismatic World Tour, she played 124 shows during our scoring period; 75 of them took place abroad, in 27 different countries. According to her managers, 60% of her income now pours in from foreign markets."

But in an interview, Katy Perry isn't bashful about the amount of money she made last year, beating other women celebrities like Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Kim Kardashian.

She told Forbes, "I am proud of my position as a boss, as a person that runs my own company. I'm an entrepreneur. ... I don't want to shy away from it. I actually want to kind of grab it by its balls."

"I'm not here to brag," says Perry. "I'm here to inspire other females."

Meanwhile, Celebrity Dirty Laundry reported that Katy Perry would be extra careful about how she will deal with the Taylor Swift feud.

"[Katy] is going to to steer clear from public bashing when it comes to interviews or on social media because she doesn't want to look like the bitter one or the bad guy," the article said. "She has an image to uphold. An image that makes her a lot of money. Something she is not interested in losing. She doesn't want to lose fans for it as well."

"But that doesn't mean she will not let her music do the talking, a diss track is still planned and then that will be it. They'll never be friends but Katy doesn't want this fued to define her career. She'll do the song and move on."
