Big Bang Top Music Charts With Latest 'Made' Album Singles 'If You' And 'Sober'

If your schedule permits a comeback in the summer, making a dance song seems to be the best option given the good mood that comes with the season.

However, Big Bang is proving that a sad song can still be worth listening to even while there's rays of sunshine outside.

Just hours after releasing their next set of "Made" album singles, Big Bang is once again topping music charts in Korea. The sad song "If You," took the number one spot on the charts, followed by the group's more upbeat track "Sober." Both tracks as well as the previous songs released for the "Made" album are now combined for the "D" part of the release series.

Earlier this week, YG Entertainment president Yang Hyun Suk talked about how moved he was after hearing "If You" for the first time.

"I listened to the song and tears welled up. It is most likely the saddest song of all Big Bang's songs in the last 9 years. I am in my 40's and I was moved significantly, so I am sure listeners in their teens or 20's, or others, will find it very sentimental," said Yang.

In fact, "If You" was so emotional that Big Bang did not film a music video for the song. Big Bang however did film a music video for "Sober," which already has over 1 million views.

According to Koreaboo, Big Bang's "If You" and "Sober" topped several charts including Melon, Mnet, Genie and Naver. Big Bang's performance schedule this time around hasn't been announced, but G-dragon and Taeyang are set to appear on Korean variety show "Infinite Challenge."

Big Bang will also continue their massive "Made" 2015 World Tour with upcoming stops in Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

"If You" and "Sober" are both available to purchase on iTunes.
