Negative Revews For Apple Music Surface After Users Complained Of Glitches; Streaming Device Hacks Leaked!

Negative reviews for Apple Music surfaced the internet as the software has encountered some glitches on the first day it rolled out to iOS worldwide.

In a report by CNN Money, it was cited that some iCloud users had trouble syncing their Apple Music to their iCloud library.

"I am getting an error, 'iCloud Music Library can't be enabled,'" Jeff Bishop said in a tweet as quoted by CNN.

Others encountered problems with their downloaded music.

"Hey, @AppleMusic, I'm super excited, but I can't save things for offline listening," Eric Gregory posted.

The said problems were resolved after several tries, according to the CNN report.

The iCloud syncing and offline listening were just some of the features of Apple Music as posted on its website.

Despite some problems encountered by some users, reviews from journalists that tried it prior to the release revealed Apple Music has some good and bad points.

In a report on Fortune, Edward Baig of USA Today was quoted about how Apple Music was visually appealing in terms of its playlist.

"Apple has high hopes for the Connect feature that connects artists to fans," he said.

"The artists you follow may post extra music and videos, photos, in-progress song lyrics, info on tour dates and more," he added.

Apple Music was confusing though for Walt Mossberg of re/code.

"Apple has built a handsome, robust app and service that goes well beyond just offering a huge catalog of music by providing many ways to discover and group music for a very wide range of tastes and moods," he explained.

"But it's also uncharacteristically complicated by Apple standards, with everything from a global terrestrial radio station to numerous suggested playlists for different purposes in different places," he further said.

With the release, several online reports have shared some ways to work around the new Apple Music to enjoy it better.

The Next Web advised those new on the Apple Music to register a unique name before it's taken for the social aspect of the music streaming. On the iOS device, this can be done by launching the music streaming and editing your profile and account details. On iTunes, the name can be changed by clicking the name that appears on the upper right of the screen.

To protect your account from automatic charging, meanwhile, after the free trial period expires, BGR suggested for Apple Music users to log in with their Apple ID, view it and proceed to Subscriptions. From there, go to Manage and turn off Automatic Renewal.

The negative reviews for Apple Music have yet to simmer down as it is also set to come to Android users this September.
