Dream T Entertainment Takes Over Management Of Ailee, Wheesung After YMC Acquisition
South Korean record label Dream T Entertainment is expanding its circle of influence.
Dream T Entertainment, the agency home to popular K-pop girl group Girl's Day, has acquired a minority share in YMG Entertainment, and with it, management responsibilities of its artists.
Dream T Entertainment announced the acquisition on Wednesday, July 1. "We have acquired 41% of share and management of YMC Entertainment," said a Dream T representative, as reported by Soompi.
"We have decided to collaborate with YMC Entertainment to maximize our influence in the music industry," the rep added. Both agencies will strive to bring great music for the K-pop fans to enjoy and build a lasting legacy.
YMC Entertainment is home to artists such as Ailee, Jessi, Shin Bora, and Wheesung.
Dream T Entertainment's most popular act, Girl's Day, will be making their highly anticipated comeback on Tuesday, July 7.
