Kanye West New Album ‘Swish’ Rumored To Be Cancelled! Is Yeezus Collaborating With Beck On Upcoming Release?

After initially announcing that the new Kanye West album would be called "Swish," rumors about the discontinuation of the release were debunked!

It was believed by Standard that the follow up to his 2013 release "Yeezus" would come out really soon and might be released as a surprise record.

In addition to that, Cult Of Mac believed that with the outrageous stunts the rapper has been known for the past few years, a surprise release wouldn't be much of a surprise anymore.

Furthermore, the site claimed that there is also a possibility that the album could be released exclusively on iTunes and the chances of it to be given out for free are high.

"Apple and Kanye are joining forces for the launch of the company's new music streaming service," the site claimed. "As a gift to the fans, Yeezy has agreed to release his new album 'Swish' for free after Apple paid him nearly double what he expected to make of album sales."

In talks of collaborations, Kanye West may in fact be working with Diddy on his new album, as the Bad Boy Records CEO is reportedly producing his LP.

"I don't know yet," he said after he was asked if would work with Kanye on 'Ye's upcoming release. "I'm definitely producing on his album, but I don't know how it's going to end up."

"It's up to Kanye and how he sees the album going. But we're definitely working together, producing a lot of records together and having a lot of fun."

Furthermore, after his almost shocking stunt at the recently held Grammys with Beck, MTV reported that the two artists may be working together but for a different release.

"Yeah, Rick and I were gonna do the record, and Kanye went through different phases musically, so we've yet to reconnect on his project," Q-Tip said, as he talked about their collaboration. "We've met a few times and he's kept me up to speed here and there on what's happening. He's done the same with my record. We've been talking about some ideas for my record as well. We're still in step. It's not like [Kanye] scrapped any of it, that's a rumor."
