Demi Lovato New Album Update! Singer Releases New Song ‘Cool For The Summer’; ‘Skyscraper’ Singer Reveals New Sound

After releasing a new song "Cool For The Summer" just in time for the summer season, Demi Lovato reveals new details for her upcoming album, which has been getting fans all excited for its release.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, the "Skyscraper" singer the new single, which is expected from her upcoming release would be the start of a shift in her sound that she hopes would be accepted by a lot of her fans.

"It's basically going to be your song of the summer," Lovato told Seacrest in an interview this week. "It's very fun, it's definitely more provocative. I just think the more you listen to it, the more things it can mean."

The song "Cool For The Summer," was revealed by the singer to be a more mature song as compared to his older tracks, which she is equally excited about.

"It's like I've spent so long just kind of people-pleasing, making everybody happy with being the best role model I can be," the 22-year-old singer said. "At the end of the day, yes, I am outspoken about the things I believe in: Mental health advocacy work, I have a charity, I have these things that make me a role model. But at the same time, none of these things are really representing the badass that I am."

Coming up with songs like "Heart Attack," "Neon Lights" and "Really Don't Care," the former "Camp Rock" actress revealed how confident she is with her sound, which he said she had no words for.

"I've never been more confident in my sound," Demi Lovato said in reference to her new album. "Never been so sure of who I am as an artist. Never felt this hungry and driven. I can't describe my new sound..."

With no release dates set for her new album as of now, Demi Lovato is expected to have her new songs hit the shelves before the year ends.
