Prince William And Kate Middleton’s Baby Charlotte: Everything You Need To Know About The Royal Daughter’s Christening

Royal supporters cannot wait to express their joy for the christening of Prince William and Kate Middleton's baby Charlotte. The festivity will take place this coming Sunday at St. Mary Magdalene in Sandringham, Norfolk. Reportedly, the church is the royal couple's local parish because of its nearness to Anmer Hall.

The christening of Prince William and Kate Middleton's baby Charlotte will reportedly be family-focused. For this reason, around 20 guests are only invited. The couple allegedly disregarded other royals because they want to keep the event as private as possible.

Nonetheless, well-wishers can still catch a glimpse of Prince William and Kate Middleton's baby Charlotte as they are permitted to gather outside the church.

An official statement from the Kensington Palace read: "While the service inside the church will be private, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be pleased to welcome well-wishers into the paddock outside the church."

The Palace's decision is in contrast to Prince George's christening where the crowd did not get to see him. Princess Charlotte will be donning the same christening gown that her brother wore in 2013.

There are no confirmations yet as to who will become the royal baby's grandparents. The public believes that Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie as well as royal sister Pippa Middleton and football legend David Beckham are being considered. Prince Harry won't become a godparent because he is in Namibia where he will become a wildlife ranger for the next three months.

The service will be led by Canterbury's Archbishop Justin Welby. Mario Testino, on the other hand, will take the event's official photo. Apart from photographing the late Princess Diane in 1997, he also took the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's engagement portrait.

Flowers brought by supporters for Princess Charlotte's christening will be given to East Anglia's Children Hospices (EACH), which the royal couple has been supporting since 2012.
