Nine Muses made a provocative, if incredulous, promise to perform in swimwear should they win a music show award with their summer comeback song "Hurt Locker."

"Our #1 promise is that we'll perform in swimsuits on public broadcast if we win," said the group, according to a translated report via Netizenbuzz.

Nine Muses is currently promoting the "Hurt Locker" in music shows, and is one of the five tracks of their new EP 9MUSES S/S Edition.

The swimsuit promise should galvanize fans that may want to see an even sexier side to Nine Muses, a group that has become famous for their model height and voluptuous figures.

But the promise also elicited several negative responses from online commenters. Some asserted that Nine Muses only made the swimsuit promise knowing that they have no chance of winning against the tough field of music show rivals in July.

Powerhouses like Big Bang and Girls' Generation, plus many other popular groups will also be promoting this month and will be vying for the awards.

Others also noted that even if Nine Muses does win an award, broadcast stations will not likely allow them to perform in swimsuits.
