The 2015 summer anime season is officially underway, with several series premiering over the weekend. U.S. fans in particular will have anime to escape from awkward family barbecues.

Unfortunately, there's still a week of waiting left for those anime fans anticipating the anime adaptation of critically acclaimed manga series, "Prison School." Nevertheless, perhaps the wait will be made easier with a brand new trailer featuring Student Council President Mari. Fans can check out the new trailer below.

Earlier when the "Prison School" anime was finally confirmed for release in July, many fans in an ANN forum expressed excitement for the series.

"I'm ready for my anime Hana! It looks like it'll be a good adaption, but PVs can be misleading. So, I'll hope for the best that it's a good one," said Xionea.

The "Prison School" anime will be directed by Tsutomu Mizushima with scripts by Michiko Yokote. Junichiro Taniguchi will design the characters and serve as the chief animation director. J.C. Staff will handle the animation production.

Yen Press describes the original story of "Prison School" by manga creator Akira Hiramoto as follows:

"Hachimitsu Private Academy was a revered and elite all-girls' boarding school on the outskirts of Tokyo...once upon a time. But with the new school year comes a revision to school policy: Boys are to be admitted into the student body for the first time ever."

The description goes on:

"But on his first day at Hachimitsu, Kiyoshi Fujino discovers that he's one of only five boys enrolled at the school. Their numbers overwhelmed by the thousand girls in the student body, is it heaven or hell that awaits these five (un)fortunates?!"
