Northern California's Blue Devils Drum And Bugle Corps Include GOT7 Song 'I Like You' In Recent Performance Set

K-pop continues to creep up in surprising places!

Most recently, GOT7's "I Like You" found its way into The Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps musical set. The Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps are a world class, competitive junior drum and bugle corps based in California. They are sixteen-time Drum Corps International World Champions.

On June 25, The Blue Devils rehearsal was uploaded to a personal YouTube page. Their 2015 set is titled "Ink" and contains popular musical tracks like "The Ballad of Sweeney Todd" and a selection of pieces from the musical Into The Woods, all by Stephen Sondheim.

About halfway through "Ink," The Blue Devils switch from performing "The Mad Hatter's Tea Party," an original composition by Gordon Goodwin, into GOT7's "I Like You." In addition to playing the song, the award-winning drum and bugle team also get into GOT7's cool style by performing the signature body roll dance.

Interest in The Blue Devils' practice video has spiked since word of GOT7's inclusion spread around the K-pop community.

"I Like You" was released in March 2014, only two months after GOT7's debut. Since then the seven member boy group has made a global impact. Most recently, GOT7 completed their Japanese promotions for their second single "Love Train." They also held a successful series of fan meetings in Japan, pulling in about 10,000 fans. Currently, GOT7 are preparing for their next Korean comeback, scheduled for release on June 13.
