Fans Pay Tribute A Year After Michael Schumacher Comes Out Of Coma; #KeepFightingMichael Goes Viral Online

Fans are still hoping that Michael Schumacher will make a full recovery as the hashtag #KeepFightingMichael continues to be used on Twitter about a year after he came out of coma following the skiing accident in 2013.

With the re-launch of a website dedicated to Michael Schumacher, 47,670 tweets have already been posted with the hashtag #KeepFightingMichael.

On July 5, one fan wrote, "F1 drivers spirit goes up congrats, great wins in past yrs to #vettel &lewishamilton there is 1 unbeatable # f1 Legend #keepfightingmichael."

Another said, "watching the awesome # f1 # #silverstone #greatbritain F1GP 2015 (Sky Sports F1 HD). #forzajules #forzamichaelschumacher #keepfightingmichael."

"The German national anthem only reminds me of one thing. #keepfightingmichael," another noted.

Fan site F1 Paddock Pass wrote, "On the anniversary of his 50th #F1 win, today - as always - we think of Michael Schumacher. #KeepFightingMichael."

Self-avowed no. 1 fan Paul McGinnes wrote, "I'll never forget how the crowd roared every time Schumacher came through Luffield. Goosebumps. #KeepFightingMichael."

In May this year, spokesperson Sabine Kehm gave an update about Michael Schumacher's coma condition after his skiing accident.

"Schumacher- manager Kehm: - We're happy to say he is doing better. This given his very serious head-injuries. Recovery will take very long," said the report.

The Metro magazine claimed that the family has been spending £100,000 a week to pay for his medical expenses in light of Michael Schumacher's condition, as the best doctors and nurses attend to the F1 champion's needs 24/7.

Daniel Johnson wrote that Sabine Kehm's announcement was merely a confirmation that Michael Schumacher was already out of coma but there's "very little specific detail" on his condition.

"The updates from Kehm have simply said he is out of a coma and continuing the long progress of rehabilitation," he wrote. "To where that might eventually lead is unknown, but the mood music does not suggest Schumacher is on the path to a full recovery."
