Former Bob Girls Members Reemerge In New Group LoveUs

Remember Bob Girls? The girl group was disbanded when member Jina was diagnosed with encephalitis and the contracts of all members were terminated shortly after.

But two of the displaced members Migyo (formerly Dahye) and Danbi have joined the new four-member girl group LoveUs, giving them a second lease in idol stardom.

LoveUs released their first track "Tickle" along with a music video on July 5. In its YouTube description, "Tickle" is described as a song with a "sexy seduction" concept and it depicts "a woman longing for love."

YouTube commenters cheered on LoveUs and the former Bob Girls members.

"I actually think the song is pretty good. Kind of catchy," "I love this a lot! The song is very good and catchy. The group too, they are pretty and seem very taleneted!" said fans.

Bob Girls debuted in 2014 as the little sister group to Crayon Pop, and spent less than a year promoting before disbanding after Jina was found to be suffering from encephalitis.

Jina had to focus on undergoing treatment for her encephalitis and then spend more time recovering from the serious illness. This left the agency no choice but to disband Bob Girls in order to allow the three other girls to start anew as part of another group, or pursue other activities instead of waiting for Jina.
