SM Entertainment Acts Attract 100,000 K-Pop Fans To Tokyo Dome For SMTown Live Concert

SM Artists successfully held a concert at Tokyo Dome and showed off their power once again.

'SMTOWN Live World Tour IV in Tokyo - Special Edition' was held at Tokyo Dome from July 5 to July 6. SM artists Kangta, BoA, TRAX, TVXQ's Changmin, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINEE, f(x), EXO, Red Velvet, ZhouMi, Henry, J-Min, and SM Rookies attended the concert an performed 55 tracks for a reported audience of 100,000 Japanese fans.

Japanese hit tracks such as BoA's "Mayaume Chasing" and Girls' Generation's "Catch Me If You Can" were performed as well as new tracks such as SHINee's "View" and EXO's "Love Me Right." 

Super Junior - K.R.Y. performed "Join Hands" ahead of the single's release on August 5. Yesung and Baekhyun gave a collaboration performance of a Japanese duet "Natsu no Owari no Harmony (Late Summer Harmony)." Changmin, Kyuhyun, and Minho performed "Ichigo(Strawberry)."

Various other group and collaboration performances took place for over 4 hours and heated up the Tokyo Dome stage.

At the end of the concert, TVXQ's Changmin thanked his fans and said, "I'm sad that Yunho couldn't be here with us today, but I could give a great performance with the help of my other SM artists. Please wait for us until Yunho and  I are back on stage as a group."

SM artists will continue spreading K-pop fever by holding another SMTOWN Live concert in Osaka from July 25 to July 26.
