AOA Fan's Harsh Comments At Meet And Greet Event Reportedly Make Mina Cry

Showing that idols are also humans who can get hurt because of harsh criticism, AOA member Mina reportedly cried after getting "chewed out" by a mean fan during a recent signing event, reports Koreaboo.

The incident was belatedly revealed when a topic was posted on Instiz, a popular Korean online community board, titled "AOA Mina gets chewed out by a fan at a fan sign event."

The post then goes on to describe the ordeal Mina had to go through by piecing together evidence gathered from media and fans present during the incident.

On July 4, AOA held a fan sign event in Apgujeon and witnesses saw that Mina had become sad for an unknown reason.

She then admitted on July 5 in another fan sign event in Incheon that she looked that way because she was chewed out rather than being sick, which was the initial thought of fans.

On radio interview on KBS Cool FM on July 6, Mina says that the entire group cried when they won first place for their new comeback song "Heart Attack" except her.

Fellow member Choa replied: "You cried in the car too," but Mina admitted: "That wasn't because of first place but because a fan scolded me..."

What could have the mean fan said to affect Mina to the point of crying?

Mina has not revealed the details of the incident, but an unofficial account was uploaded and has been since deleted on the Instiz topic board suggest it was a criticism on Mina's singing ability.

AOA recently returned with their third EP "Heart Attack" on June 22. The lead single of the same name was written and composed by K-pop hit-maker Brave Brothers. Within a week, the album claimed the 5th spot on Billboard's World Albums chart.
