K-Pop Crossover: Super Junior Work With Los Angeles-Based Production Team Stereotypes For 'Devil' Comeback

Super Junior worked with the best to create a special track for their tenth anniversary.

K-pop idol group Super Junior announced the release of a special song, "Devil," as a celebratory track in honor of their tenth anniversary. The song reportedly was created by a production team that has worked with Justin Bieber, Ne-Yo, Danity Kane, Far East Movement, Chris Brown, and many other top musicians.

"Devil" was produced by Stereotypes and the lyrics were created by SM Entertainment's in-house songwriter Kenzie.

The writer of the song, Micah, took to Instagram regarding the song. He shared a teaser image featuring the members of Super Junior.

"Soooo remember that time I went to Korea?" he wrote. "Well, I'm excited to announce my first K-pop single. I wrote "Devil," performed by the K-pop phenomenon #SuperJunior produced by my phenomenal bros @stereotypestv. [It] will be released 7-16-15. Along with including Stereotypes and Kenzie, Micah tagged two SM Entertainment A&R staff members in the post.

Choreographer Tony Testa and SM Entertainment's Hwan Sang Hoon of BeatBurger also took part in the creation of "Devil." Members of Super Junior also had input in the creation of the song.

On July 9, SM Entertainment revealed that Super Junior's special 10th anniversary album "Devil" will also include collaborations with Korean artists.

SM Entertainment announced that "Devil" will be unveiled to fans prior to being released on July 16; Super Junior will perform "Devil" for the first time at the encore concert of "Super Show 6" on July 11 and 12.
