4Minute rapper HyunA has been seen flaunting her newest accessory - a nose piercing, or at least what appears to be one.

The idol uploaded pictures in recent days which showed her wearing a small, shiny stud above her right nostril. The nose piercing gave the normally baby-faced idol some rocker edge.

Fans first noticed HyunA's nose piercing over the weekend, and she has been pairing it off with ear piercing studs.

There was initially mixed reaction over the nose piercing. Supportive fans said it suited the idol and made her look even cuter than usual.

"So pretty!" "We love HyunA in every way she wants to be! Nice piercing tho," "Your piercing! I love it," gushed fans.

But many also disapproved of the accessory. "I'm sad because I don't like piercing," "No HyunA, we don't like your nose piercing! We love you without it!" commented a couple of Hyuna's followers on Instagram.

But some fans have been calling for calm, claiming that what appears to be a nose piercing may actually be a magnet-enabled accessory. Earrings can also be made to look like piercings, when they are actually held up by a magnet at the back.

"It's with magnet," said a fan in reply to another that expressed disappointment over the nose piercing.
