Block B's Zico To Continue As Judge On 'Show Me The Money 4' After Recent Drunk Driving Accident

After reports of Block B's Zico's drunk driving accident spread across the internet, many wondered if Zico would continue as a judge on Mnet's Show Me The Money 4.

Luckily for fans of the show and the artist, on July 11 officials from CJ E&M, the media division group that owns Mnet, announced that Zico would still remain part of the rap competition program. "He is in a state of reflection and is remorseful about what happened. He will be more aware in the future but will continue to be active in the program," officials said in a report by Herald Pop.

The car accident occurred on July 9 while leaving a birthday party for fellow Block B member Park Kyung. It was later revealed that Zico's manager, who was the one driving at the time, had a blood-alcohol level of 0.145. In South Korea, the legal blood-alcohol level to be able to drive is 0.05 or below. Zico and his manager were the only two in the car.

Although Zico was reported to only be a passenger, many speculated the two of switching seats while others still condemned him for not realizing his manager's drunken state.

Fans can continue to catch Zico on Mnet's Show Me The Money 4 which airs Friday nights at 11PM KST.
