SISTAR's Hyorin Discusses Her 'Korean Beyonce' Nickname In Cosmopolitan

SISTAR's Hyorin was a femme fatale in the July issue of Cosmopolitan. The beauty transformed into a "lovely villain" with the help of Wilford leather leggings, Agent Provocateur bodysuits and Christian Louboutin heels.

During the accompanying interview, the star discussed her personal style off-stage.

"If I do not have a schedule, I shift to comfortable clothes." She said. "These days, I mostly wear leggings, since I always find time to exercise and practice choreography."

When asked to describe her life if she were not a singer, she responded, "If I weren't a singer, I would probably be working as a zookeeper or veterinarian. I really like animals. The happiest time of day for me is when I lay down to sleep in my bed with all my cats."

Hyorin also shared her thoughts on her "Korean Beyonce" nickname. "I watch videos of her performances on some days because I promised myself that I will have her stage charisma one day," she said. "I want to become someone's mentor. Of course, in order to be such an influential person, you need a lot of time and effort. But I want to overcome everything and become the best. The most important thing in my life is that wherever I go or whatever I do, I will not be ashamed of the person I am."

SISTAR is currently performing their summer single "Shake It" on weekly network music programs in South Korea.
