MAMAMOO Compliment Their Contemporaries With K-Pop Hits Medley On 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook'

MAMAMOO wowed television viewers when they performed a medley of 16 of the most popular K-Pop songs in recent times on the July 11 episode of Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook.

MAMAMOO paid homage to their contemporaries by piecing together memorable lines from the hit songs of their girl group peers like of AOA's "Like A Cat," A Pink's "Mr. Chu," EXID's "Up & Down" and "Ah Yeah," and miss A's "Only You."

The medley also ventured into boy band territory, including lines from Big Bang's "Loser" and "Bang Bang Bang."

To add even more variety to the medley, MAMAMOO even splashed in lines from duets like Soyou and JunggiGo's "Some," and G-Dragon and Taeyang's "Good Boy."

The highly amusing performance caught the attention of fans for its originality, energy and great singing.

"This changed my life. I made the right decision in stanning them," "Can they stop being so perfect," and "They are the only K-Pop girl group which all members have great voices," said impressed fans on YouTube.

MAMAMOO made a comeback last month with the release of their second EP album, Pink Funky, with the title track "Um Oh Ah Yeh."

The new album includes six tracks, and the group looks to build on the success of their rookie debut last year in which they were named Gaon's "New Artist of the Year" due to their consistent high rankings in music charts.
