Korean girl group EXID will officially begin their overseas activities and hold a showcase in Taiwan on July 18.

EXID previously performed in The Korea Times Music Festival held in Los Angeles on May 2, but this will be the group's first time holding an official promotional event abroad.

When the news of EXID's first showcase in Taiwan reached the public, tickets for all 1,200 seats sold out within the first five minutes and raised anticipation for the group's success in Taiwan.

EXID will also hold a press meeting as well as a 'hi-touch' fan greeting event after the showcase.

EXID has been securing their status as a leading girl group with their tracks "Ah Yeah" and "Up & Down." The group also began starring in their own reality show titled EXID's Showtime to connect with fans and increase publicity.
