K-pop girl group T-ara will join the long list of female Korean acts making summer comebacks this year.

The group's agency recently announced that the popular group will throw themselves into the mix with a fresh and fun summer single during the first week of August.

T-ara has been staying active with their subunit and solo activities since their last group album "Sugar Free" was release in September 2014. Eunjung, Jiyeon, Hyomin, and Qri released their collaboration Chinese album "Little Apple" in November 2014 and Eunjung also debuted as a solo artist in May under the name ELSIE.

The group originally planned to make a comeback in October, but they rearranged their Chinese concert, drama, and commercial film schedules to make a comeback in August and meet with their fans.

"T-ara will make a comeback on the first week of August with a summer track featuring T-ara's unique pop and sense of humor," commented MBK Entertainment.
