Recently, pop star Rihanna changed her hairstyle to half-shaved head, catching much attention. This was revealed on March 4 through Splash.com.

According to the media, Rihanna was caught on camera at a hotel in London, when she was first seen with her new hairstyle. This was also revealed through a magazine cover.

The half-shaved hairstyle was attempted before by artists of Korea before Rihanna. Group 2NE1's member Dara had this hairstyle when working with 2NE1's song, "I Love You," catching much attention. She had said about her hair back then, "While thinking about what hair to go for, CL suggested me this hairstyle. I honestlly cried while cutting it. I realized that's how men must feel when they're shaving their heads before going to the army."

The half-shave style gives a strong image to women, making it hard for them to attempt it. SHINee's Key, on the other hand, was more confident in trying the hairstyle.

Key shaved off the right half of his head when working for SHINee's song, "Lucifer" in 2010, shocking the media.
