Zayn Malik And Perrie Edwards To Do A Song Collaboration? ‘Little Mix’ Songstress Admits Fiancé Has Always Been A Fan Of Her Band

While fans are still waiting for Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards' wedding date, speculations have surfaced that the couple would do a song collaboration in the future. In a recent interview, the 22-year-old hinted that she and her fiancé might move on to bigger and better things.

"Imagine. He's always been a fan of ours, which is really lovely. It depends what he wants to do, and he's still deciding that. But I guess you never know," she told We Love Pop magazine when asked about the possibility of a collaboration.

The "Little Mix" songstress also admitted in the interview that she was initially upset upon finding out about Zayn Malik's decision to quit One Direction last March.

"I was upset at first because it was such a huge decision he made, and he has to live with that for the rest of his life."

She said that things have been great since then and that she's happy if her husband-to-be is also happy. Some fans blamed the blonde beauty for Zayn Malik's decision and some even resorted to calling Perrie Edwards as the "modern-day Yoko Ono."

When asked by the magazine if she's the reason behind the split, she said, "I'm 100% not! I'm just there to support him and be there for him whatever he decides to do."

Her mother also came in to action to defend Perrie Edwards.

"It was his decision and nothing to do with Perrie. They've always been happy. Zayn's one of the nicest boys I've ever met and I couldn't imagine Perrie with anyone else," said Debbie to the Mirror. "I feel like he's already my son, they've been together since she was on 'The X Factor' so he's part of the family."

When asked if there's already a Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards wedding date, Debbie said that there isn't one yet because the two "have got plenty of time" and that "they're still young."

The Bradford Bad Boy opted to quit One Direction last March because he wanted a normal life - one that's away from the spotlight.

The band members admitted that they got mad at first but eventually understood what's best for their brother.

"He wanted to spend time with his family and his missus. That's cool with us," Liam Payne previously told the Mirror.
