'Miss Monochrome' Anime English Dub Confirmed By Crunchyroll

Whether you prefer English subs, dubs, everyone seems to agree that a good anime series is worth watching.

But if the anime was never meant to be in English, then there seems to be a problem.

Today, Crunchyroll announced that the "Miss Monochrome" anime would be getting an English dub. The episodes, which were originally based on a character designed by Japanese voice actress Yui Horie, will begin streaming on the website on July 21.

While English dubs usually suffer plenty of criticism, fans seem particularly upset that this series is being dubbed.

"This seems kinda pointless given the reason this was made in the first place was to have Yui Horie voice the character she created," said RyanSaotome on CR.

Other fans however are simply excited that there will be more English dub offerings on Crunchyroll.

"I have never seen this but I'm all for Crunchyroll having dubs alongside the sub when they can, so I'll probably check it out. Thanks for more content," commented Zeffypop.

Anime News Network reports that the "Miss Monochrome" anime is directed by Yoshiaki Iwasaki. Series composition is handled by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu with music by Shigenobu Ookawa.

As mentioned before, Yui Horie, designed the original character of Miss Monochrome as well as voicing her character in the original Japanese version.

For those who are not familiar with the "Miss Monochrome" anime, Anime News Network describes the series as follows:

"In order to be more in the eyes of the public, Miss Monochrome begins working to become a top-selling idol. Spacey Miss Monochrome once again runs around the idol show biz world, being tossed around by others."
