Emma Stone Gains Weight After Andrew Garfield Break Up? ‘Aloha’ Actress Struggled To Put On Pounds In The Past

Emma Stone just appeared for an interview on "Conan," where talked about her new obsession with K-pop. But we had another obsession on our minds: Emma Stone's figure. The gorgeous and talented actress looked like she had put on a few pounds, following her break up with boyfriend Andrew Garfield and last year's struggle with her weight loss.

"I've seen articles or comments that have addressed my weight of 'caving to pressure to be thin.' Keeping weight on is a struggle for me, especially when I'm under stress and especially as I've gotten older," Emma Stone told Seventeen magazine last year.

"That's the way my genes have decided to go and things will change as time goes on, as does everything. So when completely untrue statements are made about me or my health, of course a part of me wants to defend."

In her recent appearance on "Conan," Emma looked fit and healthy. It looked like the "Aloha" actress had put on a few pounds since her appearance at the London premiere of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" in 2014. Though she stunned in a canary-yellow dress, many were concerned for the actress; her shoulder blades seemed to jut out from her back, and her elbows were sharp enough to cut her co-star and boyfriend of the time, Andrew Garfield. They reportedly broke up this May.

Take a look at the pictures for yourself. The first one is from Emma's appearance on Conan last week, and the second is from April, 2014.

In her interview with Seventeen magazine last year, Emma Stone also explained how she deals with scrutiny over her occasional weight loss and body image.

"When completely untrue statements are made about me or my health, of course a part of me wants to defend [myself]. Thing is, people have a right to imagine what they want to imagine. My job at those moments is to tell myself the truth. Am I taking care of myself in a healthy way? Am I respecting myself and being responsible? And over and over, I answer yes to that question. Then I remind myself to be kind to myself, and as slightly ridiculous as it may sound, to treat myself in the same gentle way I'd want to treat a daughter of mine. It really helps," she said.

"I'm actively working hard on learning to appreciate yourself no matter what. If what someone else says can easily derail you, it means your sense of self isn't that firmly established in the first place. It's an inside job. You're beautiful and worthy and totally unique. People insult each other based on their own insecurities - even though it may feel personal, it really never is. Really. Seriously."
