Big Bang, 2NE1 And Other YG Artists Star In Hologram Concerts At New Digital K-Pop Park

YG Entertainment artists such as Psy, Big Bang, and 2NE1 will meet with their fans in Jeju Island through hologram concerts.

On July 22, Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning (MSIP), YG Entertainment, and Next Interactive K (NIK) established the largest K-pop digital park in the world in Jeju Island. Named 'Play K-pop," the park is 4,300 m² (46,285 ft²) big and will hold hologram concerts as well as 3D animation shows.

Hologram concerts will feature YG Entertainment's representative artists such as Psy, Big Bang, and 2NE1, and the audience will be able to interact with their favorite artists on stage with virtual reality technology.

In addition, MBC 'Starry Night Café' located on the first floor of the park will feature Akdong Musician's hologram concerts and sell drinks. 'Play K-pop Shop' located on the same floor will sell various souvenirs and YG Entertainment products.

YG Entertainment artists' hologram concerts already reaped great successes throughout Korea and China. Play K-pop Park was also established in Beijing in May of this year and became the first digital park to be exported in music history.
