BTS Raise The Heat In Chicago With High-Energy Red Bullet World Tour Concert At The Rosemont Theater

Friday night, Big Hit Entertainment's beloved seven-member boy group, BTS, took the stage of Chicago's Rosemont Theater by storm, the third of four stops in the North American leg of their Episode II: The Red Bullet Tour.

Kicking off the evening with a four-song set of awesomeness that included, "N.O," "We Are Bulletproof Pt. 2," "We On" and "Hip Hop Lover," the boys of BTS had the crowd in a frenzy from the very beginning and the energy of both the group and the fans only escalated from there.

Even when the boys of BTS slowed things down a bit with "Let Me Know" and "Rain" the energy in the room never once dropped. "Blanket Kick," "Just One Day," "Look Here" and "Propose" made the hearts of many ARMYs flutter and it was almost an act of mercy on the part of BTS as they disappeared into the darkness, allowing the swooning masses a brief moment to collect themselves.

A short video and a quick costume change later, BTS was back with "No More Dream" and "Tomorrow." Inviting the audience to join them in an entertaining sing-along version of "Miss Right," the laughs never stopped as the crowd fumbled their way through the sometimes tricky Korean lyrics.

"I Like It" and "If I Ruled the World" were followed up by an impressive performance of both "Cypher Pt. 3: Killer" and "Cypher Pt. 2: Triptych" by the group's three rappers, J-Hope, Suga and Rap Monster.

With the end of the concert in sight, the energy in the room only increased as the entire group returned to the stage to perform some of their more recent and most popular songs. "War of Hormone," "Danger," "I Need U" and "Boy In Luv" left the audience clamoring for more and BTS was only too happy to oblige.

Giving fans exactly what they wanted was always a part of the plan but first the audience was treated to a heart-warming video full of thought, reflection and thanks from the boys which segued perfectly into "Road." From there each member of the group took a moment to personally thank us, their fans, for such a great Chicago experience.

Wrapping up the evening with an enthusiastic rendition of "DOPE," "Fun Boys" and "Attack on Bangtan" the evening wrapped up on an incredible high. When BTS began walking off stage to a very emotional, farewell version of "I Need U," there were tears in many an eye.

To say the Chicago stop of BTS' North American Tour was a success feels rather understated. It was a night of dreams come true for many a fan and the hints of The Red Bullet Episode III left many more hoping that this first meeting with BTS in Chicago won't be the last.
