Bethesda's Fallout 4 Pip-boy collector's edition is sold out once again.

Collector's Editions of video games are the extra perk that fans get when they pre-order the game ahead of time, or when the company decides to sell a limited run of  exclusive merchandise for fans. These novelty items tend to sell out fast, especially if the video game already has a hardcore fanbase to begin with.

Fallout 4, like many video games before it, released a pre-order exclusive collector's edition that was quickly snapped up by fans worldwide. This special edition included a Fallout 4 Pip-boy smartphone mount that got the sets sold out as soon as it was released. 

The wearable Pip-boy mount has a smartphone dock and a companion app for both Android and iOS devices. Apart from being a really cool-looking bed side alarm clock, according to VG24/7 " ...the Pip-Boy can be paired with your game to create a stylish second screen that lets you access the game's menus without interrupting the flow of play."

The Fallout 4 Pip-boy Set is sold out and the high demand from fans who haven't gotten their own want Bethesda to create more. Bethesda's boss Pete Hines said that they had tried to re-order a couple of times for a new run, but the manufacturers are not able to fit another run into the current schedule that they have, as reported by VG24/7.

Coming out with collector's editions isn't something alien to Bethesda, as they have already made sets before, but the incredible response from fans everywhere caught the company off guard. 

While the sold out Fallout 4 Pip-boy collector's editions mean the promotions for the game was a success, it is still unfortunate that many fans were not able to get their hands on their own sets.

Those who were able this highly prized pre-order set will get a Pip-Boy, a special collector's case, and an exclusive poster.

According to Game Rant, The game will be out on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC on November 10.
