Sum 41 New Album On Its Way! Deryck Whibley Thankful After Performance At APMA

Sum 41 officially announced that they would be back with a new album very soon after they signed up with PledgeMusic to bring the new breed of their music to the public.

In a report by Loud Wire, the band is getting ready to put up a new record and is asking their fans for help via this website, wherein they would offer bonus and exclusive content with the making of the album in addition to the pre-selling of their record.

In the same report, coming back from a hospitalization scare a year ago, Sum 41 vocalist Deryck Whibley talks about the new album and revealed how excited he is for its release.

"Words can't describe how good it feels to be back, so I'll just let the music do that instead," Whibley said. "Sum 41 is back - stronger and more excited than we have been in a long time. We're really proud of these songs and we want to make sure our fans know it's coming."

"It's time to make a f-king great record! Thanks to all the fans! Your support has always been a blessing. We love you for it, and we can't wait to get back to your country, you city, your town, or even your backyard to come play a rock show! See you all soon."

Meanwhile, after playing for the first time since Whibley's hospitalization, the 35-year-old singer went on the band's official Facebook page and revealed how thrilled they were to perform at the Alternative Press Music Awards.

For the new Sum 41 album, although there are no official words regarding its release date, fans expect it to come out anytime next year.
