'Ant-Man 2' Cast Michael Douglas Still '50-50' In Reprising His Role As Hank Pym

It won't be anytime soon until "Ant-Man 2" hit movie screens. But, cast speculations including Michael Douglas returning to the film franchise is still unknown.

Yahoo! UK caught up with the veteran actor and he confirmed that he has yet to sign a contract for future Marvel movies. Should Douglas part ways with Marvel, how will it affect the story?

Fortunately, Douglas himself confirmed that he is more than willing to reprise his role as Doctor Hank Pym. He also said that he is intrigued with the possibility of exploring the Quantum Realm.

"I'm not signed up to anything more. I've learned a whole lot and would look forward to more if it comes my way but if not, I've enjoyed the experience. Now I understand Hank Pym a bit more. I think with this one, I had to carry a big part of the plot and exposition. In the next movie, I hope things get a little more bizarre... the Quantum Realm," said Douglas.

Also, it would be interesting to see who will be paired up with Douglas, now that there is a strong possibility, that his wife Jane Van Dyme (The Wasp) is alive. Also, he and his daughter, Hope, are just beginning to improve the armor intended for Hope that was revealed in the end-credit scenes.

He commended the script written by Paul and Adam McKay and how they made his character a very likeable one.

"Paul and Adam (McKay's)'s re-write brought a lot more humor. I accused Paul of bringing a lot more humor to his character! Michael Pena can take care of himself. I, on the other hand, was left giving the exposition and the plot, which I was happy to do. In the next one, I hope things get a little more bizarre," said Douglas.
