Idol-actor Kim Dongjun of ZE:A was cast to star in an upcoming Korean-American crossover film, Dead Again.

Dead Again is a horror movie about the downfall of a character who dangerously obsesses over love. Kim Dongjun will play the main character named Junghoon.

Kim Dongjun already proved his acting skills by starring in various works such as Side Effects, Boarding House No. 24, and A Company Man. He also proved himself to be a multitalented celebrity by performing in musicals Catch Me If You Can and All Shook Up. He even received Rookie Awards at Daegu International Musical Festival on July 13.

"Kim Dongjun will show a new side of him through this film," commented a source from Kim Dongjun's agency Star Empire.

"As this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, he will give his best," he added.

Dead Again will be co-produced by American director David Silverman and Korean production company 8comm. The film is expected to be released early next year.
