Big Bang Bring The House Down With High-Energy MADE World Tour Concert In Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

On July 24, Big Bang kicked off their two night concert in Malaysia as part of their ongoing MADE World Tour.

The concert marked the first time a foreign artist has held two days of concerts in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur and each show lasted for an energetic two hours. Additionally, the MADE Tour concert hit another record in the country, for being the most expensive concert production in the history of Malaysia.

The crowd, almost 16,000 strong, included travelling foreigners from Russia, Kuwait, Singapore, Thailand, and Japan, among others, flooded the Putra Indoor Stadium, with many fans having arrived early in the morning to secure good spots on the general admission floor and for ht eopportunity to get as close as possible to the five Big Bang members as they preformed on the impressive stage that had been erected in the stadium.

Let's Get the Party Started

As the lights were dimmed and the gigantic screen played their 'MADE' concert trailer a'la Quentin Tarantino, the members, G-Dragon, Taeyang, T.O.P, Daeusung, and Seungri, appeared on an elevated platform to the tune of "Bang Bang Bang." This song got the audience pumped up and clapping along. "Tonight" and "Stupid Liar" followed to an equally excited response.

Classic Big Bang

After the hyper-energetic opening songs, Big Bang slowed things down a bit and serenaded the fans with some of their classic hit songs "Lies" and "Haru Haru." The familiar tunes sparked an audience-wide sing-along that continued as the group moved into their 2012 hit singles "Bad Boy" and "Blue."

Impressive elevated platforms coupled with majestic lighting which showered the members while they sang, gave a splendid and more meaningful performance for fans watching from the crowd.

Vocal Show-off

One of the highlights of the concert was definitely the various solo stage performances from each of the members. The segment started off with the youngest member, Seungri, as he channeled the sexy charasmatic allure of Justin Timberlake with his singles "Strong" and "Let's Talk About Love."

Daesung may be the joker of the group, but when he took the center stage, his strong energy flowed through his powerful voice as he sang "Wings" for the excited crowd.

Handsomely dressed in his unique color blocked suit and carrying a walking stick to perfect his appearance, T.O.P next delivered fiery raps and got the audience up and moving to "Doom Dada."

Taeyang followed with an emotional rendition of his massive hit "Eyes, Nose, Lips" before being joined on stage by G-Dragon for the duo's "Good Boy." The electronic dance hip-hop track turned the audience into a scene from a club with even the people in seats jumping to their feet to move to its infectious beat.

G-Dragon followed up with "Crooked," another music chart slayer from his solo album, Coup d'Etat released in 2013.

The solo stages were not the only way Big Bang showcased their evolution as a group and the vocal talents of each member. Performances of the group's recent MADE singles "Loser" and "If You" showed the group's undeniable talents. From TOP to Seungri, their vocals managed to give the heart-wrenching emotion behind the lyrics and for these two songs, Big Bang truly lived up to their name.

We Like to Party!

With nearly two hours clocked in at the show, and no signs of stopping, Daesung suddenly appeared on stage atop an elevated platform seated at a drum set. He kept beat as the other members gathered on stage for another recent song, "Sober" before joining them to perform the sultry tune "Bae Bae."

They knew how to save the best for last and wrapped up the concert with one of their greatest hits, "Fantasic Baby" and another of their latest releases, "We Like 2 Party."

Before leaving the stage, each of the members took time to thank their Malaysian audience for the memorable night and expressed their gratitude to be back performing in the country.

A truly magical night for VIPs in Kuala Lumpur!
