Elle Takes You Into Key's World

SHINee's Key took you into his world for the August issue of Elle. The visual star enjoyed fresh fruit in an apartment set while modeling ensembles by Heich es Heich, Gucci and Kim Seoryong, to name a few brands.

During the interview, the idol talked about his spending habits. He admitted he has a rather impulsive shopping instinct.

"There are times that I feel like 'I have to buy this!'" He said. "Other times, I buy items and realize 'I don't think I'll wear this but I'll get it anyway.'"

The singer also talked about his two pets Comme De and Garçons. The dogs are named after the famous Japanese fashion label. He revealed, "I was looking for names for my pets among fashion brands. Saint and Laurent didn't really match. Louis and Vuitton also didn't stick. But saying Comme De and Garçons sounded like two separate words."

He added, "I know the meaning of the words, but when I imagine my brown and black poodles, the names suited them the best so I named them without hesitation."

When asked how his mindset has changed after so many years in the music industry, he responded, "I used the word 'competitiveness' often. Even in the past I thought that being competitive is a necessity. Specifically, I rehearsed and practiced a lot so I would know what to do if I got a certain project."

He continued by citing a specific example, "I proposed costumes for our concert in Tokyo Dome last March. I didn't believe words would be enough so I created a presentation of various costumes, including Michael Jackson photos. Fortunately, the stylists and company liked my ideas and I was able to reflect my opinion."
