Big Bang Fans In Philippines Prepare Special Gifts As Group Members Arrive For MADE World Tour Concert

Big Bang fans in the Philippines are going all out with the gifts in preparation for the group's one-day concert on July 30.

Big Bang Philippines, a large local fan club, assembled a special set of gifts for the five boys with a theme linked to the group's MADE album, one of the organizers revealed in an interview with Manila Bulletin.

Gifts will correspond to each letter of MADE: M for mangoes, A for artwork, D for designer barongs or traditional Philippine men's formal attire and E for encore songs.

"Not all fans have resources so we came up with a dried mango drive. A lot of fans gave us dried mangoes to give to them," Chi said.

The group also managed to collect different pieces of artwork from fans.

As for the barongs, Philippine fans expressed confidence that Big Bang will not only be able to pull off them but wear them proudly in the future.

"Big Bang wants to know the culture of each country. So, even though they are only staying for a short while here in the Philippines, we want them to also know our culture," Chi said. "Besides, they're also into fashion."

For the actual concert on July 30, which will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena in the capital of Manila, fans have prepared custom chants as well as thank you banners.

Chi said various fan clubs have made special fanchants for Big Bang's hit tracks such as "Haru Haru," "Blue," "If You," and "We Like 2 Party." The banners, meanwhile, will be distributed across the venue and displayed proudly for Big Bang to see.
