Alec Baldwin's daughter Ireland has signed with two modeling agencies New York City's IMG and Two Management, based in Los Angeles, according to Fashionista.com

Ireland Baldwin is Alec's only child, with former wife, "Batman" actress Kim Bassinger. She is 17 years old.

"Officially working for @TwoManagement and @IMGmodels!" Baldwin tweeted last week. "I'm blessed, happy, and ready to WEEEEERK."

Chalk it up to genetics, but Ireland Baldwin, who has posed in recent Instagram self-portraits in bikini and shot underwear and a sports bra in another shot, appears to be ready for her close up.

Yet Alec Baldwin's daughter showed her modesty recently in a Tweet paying tribute to her famous mother.

"Mom, you still look like you're 17 and it's kind of embarrassing standing next to you," Ireland Baldwin wrote. "Hopefully someday I will adopt your cheekbones and your overall beauty...inside and out."

Alec Baldwin, who found out last week that he is going to have a daughter with 28-year-old wife Hilaria Thomas Baldwin, once called his daughter, then 11, a "a rude, thoughtless, little pig," in a voicemail that was leaked to the press.

Hopefully father-daughter relations have improved since then.

Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Thomas Baldwin recalled to Extra the moment this year when the current Mrs. Baldwin realized she was pregnant.

"There's a scream I heard, which is a scream normally reserved if there's a spider in the house, not exaggerating," Alec Baldwin recalled. "Normally, I will be reading a book. We're in the country, it's quiet, some time to really relax and unwind and sometimes, once a month, you hear 'Ahh, Alec, Alec!' I come upstairs, and there's a spider on the wall. So then I hear that scream again, but it was not a spider."

Hilaria continued, "It was followed by 'I'm pregnant, I'm pregnant!' He runs up the stairs and I'm holding it [the test] and showing it to him."

"We can joke all about it, but it's honestly the most amazing moment," Alec said. "We are really sharing something special."
