‘Dancing With The Stars' Season 21 Cast Rumors: Donald Trump To Join? Anthony Davis Declines

It seems that the US presidential candidate will have another thing to get busy about after the campaign period as he is rumored to be part of the "Dancing With The Stars" season 21 cast.

According to HollywoodLife.com, ABC is keen about offering Donald Trump a spot in the dancing reality show should he fail to snatch the highest position in the country.

"Oval office or no oval office, it appears Donald Trump, 69, will have an exciting new gig lined up for him regardless of what happens in the upcoming presidential campaign," the site said.

HollywoodLife.com noted that the business tycoon's ability to entertain "in one way or another" could be the reason of the network's interest.

"'Dancing With The Stars' would love Donald Trump to be on the show," some unnamed sources revealed. "The producers know what a lightning rod that would be, so when his run for the president is finished, they would love for him to join a future season of the show."

However, when ABC was asked if the rumors are true, the network responded saying, "we do not comment on casting rumors."

Meanwhile, NBA star Anthony Davis reportedly declined the offer of ABC to be part of "Dancing With The Stars" season 21 cast, an interview clip posted on TMZ showed.

"I've seen a couple of players on 'Dancing with the Stars,' or just athletes, not even NBA players ... I actually got asked to do it, but I can't dance, so I don't want to embarrass myself," the New Orleans Pelicans power forward and center player said.

"No, I can't dance. I would never want to do nothing to embarrass myself. But sometimes, I'll do something just to have fun," he added.

With this development, CarterMatt.com commented that the reports about the basketball rejecting the offer to be part of the show are somehow "funny."

"The funny thing about some of the reports out there regarding Davis turning down the show strictly revolve around the fact that even if he wanted to do the show, there really is not much of a way for him to be able to," the article stated.
