The Foo Fighters are coming to Cesena, Italy to possibly perform more than just "Learn To Fly."

As reported by Billboard, about a thousand musicians banded together in a big production to call unto the band to perform in their town of Cesena, Italy. Their plan seemed to have worked.

In a post on Facebook and other social media accounts of the band, they took notice of the viral video and shared it as well.

"See you soon, Cesena.... David xxx," frontman Dave Grohl wrote as automatically translated by the social media platform.

He used the hashtag ‪#‎Rockin1000 that was used as well by the organizers of the grand request and people who shared the video.

The project was more than a year in the making according to the official website of "Rockin 1000." They got the idea in May 2014 and quick started on the project. In March, they got Marco Sabiu, who has worked with Pavarotti, Kylie Minogue and Take That, to conduct for the project. By May, they finally raised the fund for the project. On July 26, 1,000 musicians got together in Cesena to make the project a reality and finally get their Foo Fighters to the town.

The result was the "Learn To Fly" cover music video uploaded on Youtube on Thursday that got the world and the Foo Fighters in awe. The video already has close to four million views after just hours.

"I guess that this video is gonna be seen by a huge, huge amount of people all over the world," event creator Fabio Zaffagnini said at the end of their performance in the video. "To be true, it's been conceived to be addressed to just five people -- Chris, Pat, Nate, Taylor and Dave Grohl, the Foo Fighters.

"What we did here is a huge, huge miracle," he added as quoted by Spin. "One thousand rockers that came from all over the nation at their own expense, and they just did one song - your song. We ask you, the Foo Fighters, to come play for us."
