'Terminator Genisys' Sequel Set To Reveal Kyle Reese As A Bad Person; Statement Released!

The speculated sequel to "Terminator Genisys" has been talked about in forums and in other outlets, as fans claim that the next movie following this will definitely be better that the former.

In an interview with cast member Jai Courtney, it was revealed that the character he is playing, Kyle Reese, might become a bad guy in the next film. As known to the fans and the public itself, Kyle Reese is portrayed to be Sarah Connor's guardian. Aside from the Terminator himself, he has gone back in time to prevent future events from happening and ultimately to protect Sarah Connor.

Courtney has gone on an interview with Screenrant and hinted about the next film and his character in it.

"I would normally kind of dance around that, but when you can be sort of unforgivingly nasty, it's fun," he said about playing the bad guy in movies. "It's tougher to play a good guy."

When asked to delve deeper into the storyline for the "Terminator Genisys" sequel, the actor quickly shrugged it off.

"I don't know," he said. "Look. That stuff's a long way away. I know there are people who know exactly where they want this to go from a narrative point of view."

"But yeah, look," he added. "Who knows? We'll wait and see. And if we're back doing this soon, then I'll be stoked."

"I think the nods to the early movies," Courtney continued, talking about the recently released film. "There's some cheeky little recreations, like shot for shot stuff of a couple little sequences which I think fans will get a kick out of."

"Also, the way we kind of destroy everything that they know about it at the same time and that's the direction we're taking it in," he also said.

"There's choices that, perhaps, are sacrilege within this, but I think it provides potential for really sort of juicy plot from this point on," the actor concluded.

Since he released his statement, fans have been feeling confused about whether there will be a sequel to "Terminator Genisys" or not. Regardless, the news about it has been gaining momentum as time passes.
