Alan Thicke Loving 'Celebrity Wife Swap' With Comedian Gilbert Gottfried: 'Missing Gilbert And Dara, Really!' He Tweets.

Alan Thicke apparently had a great time appearing on the ABC show "Celebrity Wife Swap" with comedian Gilbert Gottfried.
"Missing Gilbert And Dara...really!" Alan Thicke tweeted Tuesday night as "Celebrity Wife Swap" aired on the east coast.
The 66-year-old star of the classic 1980s sitcom "Growing Pains," appears to have been charmed by Gottfried and his wife, despite the comedian's notoriously stingy lifestyle.

"Actor Alan Thicke's wife, Tanya, finds comic Gilbert Gottfried's economical ways a shock when she leaves her lavish life to trade places with Gottfried's wife, Dara," reads the description of Tuesday's episode on the ABC website.
Gottfried quipped to Yahoo TV that his association with Alan Thicke was long overdue.
"I think the world has been waiting for some sort of weird sexual connection between me and Alan Thicke," he said.
The 58-year-old comedian even joked about a potential Gottfried/Thicke sex tape.
One central conflict for Alan Thicke's wife Tanya on this season of "Celebrity Wife Swap" is reportedly the fact she is forced to leave the large ranch she and Thicke share in Santa Barbara, Calif. with their teenage son.
Meanwhile, Gilbert's wife Dara Gottfried is forced to prepare an elaborate meal though she is an inexperienced cook.
"[Gilbert Gottfried] is a gentle genius]," Dara told the New York Times. "I knew I'd never find anyone else like him."
No word when the Alan Thicke/Gilbert Gottfried bromantic comedy is coming out.
