‘Rush Hour 4’ Is Possible If Brett Ratner, Chris Tucker And Jacky Chan Find Time To Do The Film

"Rush Hour 4" could possibly happen if director Brett Ratner, Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker would find time to make the film, a report at Slash Film says.

Previously, during an appearance on "The View", Tucker revealed that he and Hong Kong martial-arts actor Jackie Chan are looking into making yet another "Rush Hour" film, according to Moviehole. The subject was broached after reports surfaced that Chan is meeting with Tucker in Beverly Hills, leading to speculations that a fourth installment in the film is well underway.

"We're talking about some stuff for 'Rush Hour 4' so we're thinking about doing something like that," Tucker said.

On the other hand, Ratner, who directed the "Rush Hour" films, reveals that they are talking about doing "Rush Hour 4." During a short talk with Slash Film, the filmmaker said, "We're always talking about it."

However, there seems to be a problem on the schedules of both actors as well as that of Ratner who has recently worked on the National Geographic series "Breakthrough." He said, "We've just got to find the time between Chris Tucker, myself, and Jackie."

There have already been a total of three "Rush Hour" films with the last one having been released back in 2007. The story of the films revolves around Agents Lee (played by Chan) and Carter (Tucker) who embark on different missions to stop the bad guys.

However, according to Cinemablend, the chance of having another "Rush Hour" movie in the near future is a slim chance. Chan, who turned 60 last year, said that he was retiring from his role as an actor who applies martial arts into his films.

For the meantime, fans can look forward to the "Rush Hour" TV series version which was produced by CBS and will be airing its first season later this year until 2016.
