EXO member Chanyeol was hit on the leg by what looked like a flying water bottle while standing on the stage of the group's recent EXO'luXION concert in Chengdu, China, reports Koreaboo.

Eyewitness accounts in Chinese media describe how Chanyeol flinched after the object hit his lower left leg after being thrown by a fan near the stage. Chanyeol was hurt and bothered enough to check on the spot where he was hit.

After learning about the incident, Chanyeol's band mate and Chinese member Lay reportedly talked to the fans to prevent further bottles from hitting the stage and injuring other EXO members.

"Please don't throw water bottles up on stage. Your oppas might get hurt by these actions," Lay reportedly said.

As the band plans to perform future concerts in other Chinese cities, EXO released a statement wishing that "fans treat the stars with reasoning and respect."

The bottle-throwing incident is the latest in a string of physical mishaps that have befallen EXO members during their EXO'luXION concert tour.

In March, Tao and Kai were reportedly injured while last month D.O sustained an injury a day before the Tokyo leg of the tour which prevented him from dancing.
