Thor 3 2017 Casting and Plot Rumors: "Thor 3: Ragnarok" hits theaters on Nov. 3, 2017 and fans are getting into the hype for the third God of Thunder movie.

Lady Sif actress Jaimie Alexander was recently interviewed by the Los Angeles Times and hinted at things to come that she herself is only guessing at.

"Marvel, I think on purpose, they don't tell me certain things. Because they know I'll be like, 'So here's what's gonna happen.' But I do know I will be in Thor 3 and that Sif will have a very pivotal part in that movie. I just can't tell you what because I'll get shot," Alexander told the Los Angeles Times.

Alexander said Marvel has been teasing that "Thor 3: Ragnarok" connects to all the active Marvel franchises. 

"There's a lot of great stuff they've peppered in through 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,' 'The Avengers,' 'Captain [America]' will have some stuff. There's just all kind of Easter eggs and hints, if you're really paying attention. They're so good at interweaving everything throughout those films," Alexander said.

Thor 3, which will star Chris Hemsworth as the Legendary Nordic God of Thunder and Tom Hiddleston as Loki, still doesn't have a director. There were that Kenneth Branagh was slated to direct the third "Thor" flick

"Not true. I don't know where that came from," Kevin Feige, The Marvel Studios president told Collider. But Feige teased that a director will be named soon. The third Thor movie is being written by Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost.

"Probably towards the end of the summer we would announce a filmmaker and a writer. May be the same person, I don't know, may be two different people," Feige said.

Speculations are running rampant that "Thor 3" will set the stage for "Avengers: Infinity War," because Thano is part of the plan to destroy the Asgard universe.

Thor 3: Ragnarok starts shooting in 2016 and fans have been aching for any spoilers on the upcoming apocalyptic tale. Captain America 3 may ignite Marvel's Civil War.

According to Movie Pilot, "Thor: Ragnarok" will show the end of days. Asgard will be destroyed by a conflagration called "Surtur." Norse mythology says the old world ended when the Fire Giants, led by Surtur/ Surtr, waged war against the gods in Asgard and Lif and Lifthrasir, two humans, had to repopulate the universe.

Kevin Feige promised that Thor 3 will shock and entertain while changing the landscape of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"Thor 3: Ragnarok is a very important movie for us in Phase 3...we plan on taking Thor to another level," Feige recently told the press.

Thor 3: Ragnarok plot theories are filling in the gap in the years we have to wait for the next installment in the franchise. What might happen in Asgard during their dreaded apocalypse?
